CrystalX ported to sNews
One of the hottest CSS templates these days is called CrystalX and one of the first things I thought of when I saw it was that it would could be a nice interface for sNews with a little loving care. And so, after a little time and few modifications to snews.php and index.php it appears to be working... but seeing that it's early, early morning in my timezone I'm sure there are plenty of problems here and there. Please let the bug reports fly and that will tell me there is an interest in archiving a version .02 ;)
If you would like a demonstration of CrystalX working with sNews 1.5 before you download it, you're looking at it. ;)

Marcin on 18.03.2007. 09:25Dear Ken, thank you very much for this template. I've upgraded Snews version in "my" edition of CrystalX. Once again, good job. Regards.
dimsal on 01.04.2007. 13:57there's one problem with this template, once [break] is used on a page the short version displays correctly with yellow 'reads more' button, but when you click on it, the long/entire version of the same article is displayed with a broken yellow button, < a ...> tag is somehow stripped. Anyone experienced this?
dimsal on 04.04.2007. 04:49So here's a code where i think the bug is located: lines 520-522
If I remove it, the full article displays OK without any broken tag and a yellow 'Continue' button, but if the code is enabled as I said in my previous comment, the short version displays fine (proper link and 'continue' button), but the long version right at the end of an article displays this code on a page:
....category/name-of-an-article/" title="Continue reading">Continue....
Any ideas on to fix this?
Etienne on 14.06.2007. 18:06Can you make it for the new one (snews 1.6) ?
Because I try to install it but it is not working well.
Did you receive my e-mail ?
Regards,
Etienne.
